This play is an apocalyptic reflection on humanistic questions posed by the ancient Greeks.
One day, the birds decide to build a new city. But they continue to live in it according to the old rules. Happiness and liberty here, in our part of the world, are not given just like that – they have to be earned. And it will be without any guarantees for a happy end. You can only be sure the end will be beautiful – like a nuclear explosion.
