Шоукейс: Вимір театру Лесі Українки — це чотири насичені дні, протягом яких ми показуємо різноманіття жанрів і тем, які нас цікавили впродовж останніх шести років. Кожна із них — відбиток нашої реальності та одночасно мрії про те, якими хочемо бути завтра. Ми створюємо відкритий простір, де професійні театрали з України й ЄС та наші глядачі зустрічаються в одному залі, щоб разом відчути чим дихає сучасний український театр і сформувати власну географію близькості.

Showcase: Dimension of Lesia Ukrainka Theatre is four days full of activities during which we present the diversity of genres and themes that have engaged us over the past six years. Each of them is a reflection of our reality and, at the same time, a dream of who we want to become tomorrow. We are creating an open space where professional theatre practitioners from Ukraine and the EU, together with our audience, come together in one room to experience the spirit of contemporary Ukrainian theatre and forge their own sense of connection.

У програмі — 8 вистав Театру Лесі та 2 публічні розмови з українськими театральними діячами та діячками. Найяскравіші постановки в нашому репертуарі: сучасна українська драматургія, нове прочитання античних міфів, несподівані погляди на Данте й Арістофана, а також рефлексії про війну й ідентичність у форматах постдокументального мюзиклу, античного рейву, байопіку та ерополітичної драми. Усі вистави супроводжуються англійськими субтитрами, а розмови — синхронним перекладом.

The programme features 8 performances by the Lesia Theatre and 2 public discussions with Ukrainian theatre professionals. The most striking productions in our repertoire include: contemporary Ukrainian drama, fresh interpretations of Greek myths, unexpected perspectives on Dante and Aristophanes, as well as reflections on war and identity in the forms of a post-documentary musical, an ancient rave, a biopic and an eropolitical drama. All performances are accompanied by English subtitles, and talks are provided with simultaneous interpretation.
